Closing the Spoken Language Gap Innovation Project

The Graeme Cluster of schools was successful in their innovation fund bid to further develop the communication skills of their school population.  This funding has allowed us to enhance our approach within Laurieston Primary School and Nursery with a main focus on pre-school up to P2.

This is a whole school approach in partnership with Speech and Language Therapy. Our Speech and Language Therapist, Katie Clark, works alongside our teaching staff in an effort to:

Engage in effective partnership working

Develop a communication friendly school

Develop a bespoke plan to meet children’s communication needs in their natural environment

Please could you take 2 minutes to complete this questionnaire? It will help us gather information about the work we have been carrying out in your child's nursery or school to support improved spoken language skills for all children. It should only take 5-10 minutes to complete and the majority of questions can be completed by ticking a box.  We really appreciate your time. Please could you complete it by 14th December 2018.
