Laurieston Primary School

Laurieston Primary School (roll approximately 210, plus 64 place Nursery) serves the village of Laurieston on the east side of Falkirk.

Built in 1969 to replace the old Victorian school, the building consists of 10 generously proportioned classrooms and a central block housing offices, library, computer suite, gym and dining hall. In 1992 a community wing was added which, as of 2014, is now used as part of our Nursery.

Laurieston Nursery accommodates children from aged 3-5. Our Nursery has recently been refurbished to provide a modern and engaging learning environment both inside and out.

The school proudly retains its identity as a village school and is well supported by the community. A Parent Council is well established and all parents are welcome to join.

A hardworking PTA also ensures parents are actively involved in the life of the school.

Excellent links are maintained with Graeme High School, the associated secondary school.
